If you order a birth certificate from the state's website, it could take over 6 weeks to arrive. If you want to get it in less time, go to the office of your local state representative and order it through them. That'll take about 2 weeks. Whatever you do, avoid websites that claim to offer speedy delivery for an extra fee. They don't work.
