Parking lot on 2nd is $19 a day. There is virtually no free parking within many blocks of that hotel.
It's not free, but there is a municipal parking garage a few blacks away. I think it's about $25 for 24 hours

If you do some searching, you will be able to find free parking on city streets. However, it will take work and you have to pay close attention to the signs. Overall, your best bet is going to be on a residential side street near the hotel
