While I have never encountered anything in my times there many I have been with have heard voices, screams and other paranormal activity. The Fort has been featured on Ghost Hunters as well.

U can take a lyft or ride a bike, its near the airport so u can take a bus to the airport and backtrack

Could go around the basic areas of the fort. There are some parts that are paved pathways. But it would be pretty restrictive, is my memory.

It is knowen as the fort tjat save America. When Howell capture Philadelphia they needed supplies so they order ship to come up the river. The fort held them off for three weeks if i remember correctly before they abandon it and Howell abandon Philadelphia. The story is great to read and ashame that no one really knowes the whole story about the fort. It became fort mifflin after the war.

You must pay before entering. There is a two storey building beside the parking lot with an office on the second floor.
