If I purchased flowers for delivery, and I find out that the recipient had to pick them up, should I see if I can get my $10 delivery fee refunded?

I wouldn't "raise heck" just yet. They are usually pretty open to doing what it takes to make the customer happy. If they don't take care of you after bringing up the issue....yeah, heck raising time!

I've sent a message to Hy-Vee to see how they want to respond. ... the person I sent flowers to thought I should get a refund

Loren Clobes | Nov 2, 2018

Hi John it seems there's a lot of misunderstanding in business if you already paid the $10 delivery fee then I definitely would demand the the $10 back and give it to you to the person that received the flowers

DD Z | Nov 2, 2018

If they don't deliver them they should not be charging a delivery fee

Susan Pfeffer | Nov 2, 2018

I would definitely request a refund.they received money for a service that they never did.
