They also have a 5 day you can sign. But it does depend on their behaviors ECT otherwise. 7-15 days is standard.
They keep them as long as they feel they need to. If the child is still a hazard to themself or others, requires medication changes, misbehaves, or doesn't open up about their problems, they'll be there for awhile.
