I don't understand why there's an open to public swimming area, kids of all ages and yet, there is no lifeguard or volunteer lifeguard, with unsupervised children swimming.

At all beaches in Buckeye Lake State Park there is swimming at your own risk. It's been that way for years. Parents of younger children should be there supervising their children.

The parents need to be held responsible for their children swimming or what ever else their children do

I'm there almost daily as well as many others. Whats to understand? Swim at own risk. Stand up & shout if you feel your drowning! Someone will help you walk out of the water. How about you be our first volunteer?
