On self guided tours are there certain areas that we can not enter? Also what items should one plan to bring if they go on a self guided tour

There is some areas that are closed off but the self-guided tour is pretty extensive also no large backpacks I had a small sling bag with my cameras and that was okay was a fun self-guided tour take your time and enjoy I also got one of the one of the wands the narration made the tour more immersive but you can do fine if you do not want one

Yes all the areas with closed doors are off limits. If you are doing the night self guided tour bring Flashlight and appropriate clothing. Place is dusty with paint peeling off, so i wouldn't wear anythingthats too nice.They provided us with pizza and drinks. Bring money there is a gift shop when you enter the prison.
