You need an ID with your current address (or a piece of mail with current address) to get a card. I do not believe you need a card to use a computer, just your ID. Talk to the reference desk (take a left when you enter, the small desk by the computer lab)
Thanks Sarah for answering Lakin's question! You are correct! You need something with your current address on it and you can use the computer 1x without a card, using a guest pass. However, if you are planning on using the computers regularly, you will need to sign up for a library card. Thanks for your interest in the library!
