I was at JFK International airport yesterday and an agent directing traffic told me that on a Monday/ or during the week the TSA line closes at 7pm. Is this correct? I need to know because I have a large group that will be traveling

Terminal 4 is the only terminal that operates 24/7 so...no...tsa never closes unless...of course an emergency

That's not true! TSA line never closes , They only have a few lines open if they are not much people checking in.
