Technically, it's not. However, the way the Director runs the shelter prevents unnecessary euthanasia. I volunteer at the there, and know we all do everything we can to support the Director's goal to find a forever home for every animal that comes in. By working closely with Pets Alive, other rescue groups, and other shelters the Pflugerville Animal Shelter has been able to prevent other shelters from being forced to euthanize due to over crowding or damage to those shelters (like that done by the recent hurricanes).
