Maybe you're thinking of Carnegie Deli. No indication of any problems at Katz. You can stop by and ask for Alan or Jake Dell and ask them directly
It is not closing. I think the reason people have been asking this is because the Carnegie Deli did close. So they hear about a famous NY deli closing and they think of Katz's.
