Called to get some general information and suggestion on switching from my current doctor. The office was quite rude and was quite disappointed given the reviews. Is this the normal way of things there?

I’ve always found each member of the staff to be very helpful & compassionate. What you experienced definitely it not normal ~ quite unusual. Not an excuse, just what’s going on: they are getting extremely busy & have been bringing on a lot of new staff the past 3-4 months (I’ve been going since 2/2017). In general if you are interested in switching doctors, you may find my answer to another question helpful. They’ll need a referral (from any doctor unless your plan states otherwise), records from the current pain mgmt dr sent (I did this as a second opinion via my insurance to also protect myself from losing care while trying to find a new/better dr), then get the New Patient paperwork (it’s not online~at least hasn’t been) in advance of the appt. it is extensive; it needs time to fill out carefully & needed even when going in for an opinion. And yes, prepare for a urine screen. Hope that helps.

The office was rude to me also. The doctors are ignoramus. You'll be told to treat your pain with vervain.

I have never experienced any kind of rudeness from them. I've been seeing them for over two years now and they are always so nice and compassionate.

I have 3rfa and many facet injections, but after a week pain comes back. Is there any kind of surgery? MIR shows L1-L2. and L3-L4.
