I have relied on Diagnostic Pain Center for chronic pain treatment since earlier this year. I have never been disappointed. Dr. John Gburek is an excellent doctor who genuinely cares for each of his patients and tailors his treatment in the most fitting way possible. Staff is warm, supportive, and professional. I recommend them highly!

Was disappointed! Not the valued service I thought I would receive based on their website. I guess being a "cash patient" with no insurance coverage makes a difference in a treatment plan you receive and or treated. For the amount of money I paid for a first time visit/new patient I thought I would have received a more thorough evaluation. I avoided going to a regular MD to bypass referrals and thinking a pain specialist would have been more helpful with addressing the root of the problem....not so!

I’ve been a patient for almost two years now. My doctor is Dr Rafii. He is great and very personable. My NP is Lydia and she is ssssooooo wonderful. We have an incredible relationship and i couldn’t say enough positive things about her. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. If you are looking for a good Pain Mgmt clinic I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Was disappointed. I was a “self pay” patient and for what I paid for a new patient - first time visit of 15 minutes with a doctor, not one X-ray was taken for my neck pain to be sure all basis were covered. I feel like a more thorough check would have been completed. Some of the staff was friendly. I just think for what they charge self pay patients they should be more mindful of the value of service they offer to those who need to feel better and don’t have the means to just “bill the insurance company”.

This is Dr. Marks. Since the new laws have finally allowed us the option to have meaningful telemedicine visits during this crisis, I have been working around the clock to optimally integrate the Telemedicine module with our system. I expect it to be fully up and running by Monday for all providers. Check our website or follow us on Twitter (@diagnosticpain) for updates tomorrow. As always, you can count on us to maintain the health & safety of our patients as our top priority. Announcements will also be made via text & email for those who have provided such information. In the interim, please register for and login to our patient portal. And BE SAFE!!!
HIPAA requires that you contact the practice directly. For fastest results, you can message your doctor directly through the practice's portal system.
I use Dr. Raffi and he is an excellent doctor at Diagnostic Pain Center. I hope you get some relief soon!
ARA Diagnostic Imaging. They have several locations and can usually get in you in quickly. Some specialized services are only performed at certain locations. Your Doctor can log in and see your results. No worries about having to get the films yourself. Also they will give you a copy of your own on a CD for free...just make sure you ask when you get there before you have your images taken.
I’ve always found each member of the staff to be very helpful & compassionate. What you experienced definitely it not normal ~ quite unusual. Not an excuse, just what’s going on: they are getting extremely busy & have been bringing on a lot of new staff the past 3-4 months (I’ve been going since 2/2017). In general if you are interested in switching doctors, you may find my answer to another question helpful. They’ll need a referral (from any doctor unless your plan states otherwise), records from the current pain mgmt dr sent (I did this as a second opinion via my insurance to also protect myself from losing care while trying to find a new/better dr), then get the New Patient paperwork (it’s not online~at least hasn’t been) in advance of the appt. it is extensive; it needs time to fill out carefully & needed even when going in for an opinion. And yes, prepare for a urine screen. Hope that helps.
