Why do the burgers IN ALL fast food restaurants look so much bigger than they really are...isn't that bait and switch, false advertising or whatever it can be called.

Food photographers specifically pick out the nicest looking ingredients for their shoots, they arrange everything to look as appealing as possible to attract customers. Food service workers are paid basically minimum wage to make hundreds of burgers as fast as possible. They aren't putting your burger together for a picture, they are trying to get it to you before their timer runs out.

Yea I've noticed over the years smaller and smaller ,believe it or not when I was young you couldn't eat a big Mac, I guess to stay competitive they have went to smaller portions...

Well, no matter the look, Mcdonalds and other fast food restaurants promise the weight of the meat. For instance, the quarter pounder is always a quarter pound. Then, the smaller cheeseburger meat is half the quarter pounder, and so on.
