Food photographers specifically pick out the nicest looking ingredients for their shoots, they arrange everything to look as appealing as possible to attract customers. Food service workers are paid basically minimum wage to make hundreds of burgers as fast as possible. They aren't putting your burger together for a picture, they are trying to get it to you before their timer runs out.
But still isn't that dishonest.
Yea I've noticed over the years smaller and smaller ,believe it or not when I was young you couldn't eat a big Mac, I guess to stay competitive they have went to smaller portions...
Love that 60 minutes show where Andy Rooney gave the downsizing of products that is going on without us noticing. Eye opener!
No that's commercialism
Must be one of those "enlarged to show texture" kind of thing
Well, no matter the look, Mcdonalds and other fast food restaurants promise the weight of the meat. For instance, the quarter pounder is always a quarter pound. Then, the smaller cheeseburger meat is half the quarter pounder, and so on.
Yes Larry it is very dishonest!! But I reckon since noone has carried them to court over it yet, they feel like they are still getting away with it!!
