Why does this location close so early? We were staying at a hotel and thought it was crazy how early they close! That’s not normal at all. Is this a Minneapolis thing?

It's actually not because of the riots but because of the sales numbers going down and making no sales after a certain times after the pandemic started. Downtown minneapolis is basically dead after 7pm and would not profit from staying open until 10 pm. All the other bigger target stores in the twin cities are open until 10.

I think it's because of the riots that broke out last summer in August. A bunch of people tried trashing the store & stealing stuff too. There's also people that sit out front that are usually up to no good and for that those all are all the reasons why Target is worried about their store so they close early because of it. I noticed they changed the hours shortly after this happened. It's the only Target in the cities that closes early like that. So thanks to those people that did that now we can't shop after 6pm.
