No the property is owned by the Corps of Engineers and leased to the city. You must have permission from the Corps to carry a firearm on Corps property in addition to a GA Carry permit.
Not a lawyer, but state law allows for the carry of firearms in state parks, city or county parks, historic areas, and wildlife management areas. The park is managed by the City of Acworth.
