I was looking at the reviews and saw several people stating you should start in tazwell and ride to Marion rather than the other way around. I'm just curious to know why?

I started in Marion and rode to Tazwell. Great ride. And the Dragon shop is in Tazwell. Either way would be great. Its all up and down either way.

Ride both ways!

I'm not sure why either, I ran it from Marion to Tazwell and enjoyed the ride

Tazewell ride seems to flow better, curve sweeps are faster in that direction. Coming Marion to Tazewell, several corners have rock overhangs that hang out over the road. We road it both ways and it actually rides quicker starting in Tazewell.. Then again, riding both ways is more fun..

Either direction is beautiful. Go early hit it both ways . PEACE
