Buying my son in laws used truck from him. What do i need to get it registered and plated in my name? I have the certificate of title signed over to me, proof of insurance, and the vin # is still valid in the emissions clean air database til Sept.

Yes you must get it registered in your name and also have proof of insurance on the vehicle
