The best way to utilize Medicaid is through your nearest emergency room, the individual needs to be assessed by the on call social worker for medical criteria. If the individual meets medical criteria, they will be referred into a detox that works with medicaid. For outpatient programming in the Denver area, Center for Recovery IOPs work with medicaid.
