Kicked me out for not sharing details about a dv situation that had nothing to do with my treatment. Highly recommend going somewhere else. Also their virtual program is useless and the drug tests and breathalyzers take 5+ weeks to send. Never meet in person with anyone. Just an overall terrible program with not great therapists. Chanel was mine and was not trauma aware or understanding at all.

I attended the Outpatient program March/April 2021. Basically it was 3 hours of people sharing their addiction horror stories and nothing else, very little other context. (I even had to add in topics to the nightly agenda). If it was just that I would have given a 3 star rating. The financial aspect of this was abysmal. I had paid off everything and spent a huge amount of time going through billing problems with them. As of November 2021 I was paid off and thought I was done. I was then contacted by a Debt Collection Agency (Wakefield) regarding outstanding debt. I had to contact AR Billing again to have this reconciled. Thought I was done. I have received bundles of letters in the mail (10 or more at a time) from Wakefield regarding my debt. I have spent more time on the phone with both them and AspenRidge trying to clear this up. I get letters, texts, phone calls from Wakefield regarding my debt even though I have emails confirming my account is closed. Absolutely terrible experience and ruined any benefit the program might have had. This is a trigger if there ever was one. Save your money, go to SMART Meetings or AA.

I have been working for AspenRidge awhile now and have nothing but good things to say! I really appreciate that they offer more than just help for recovery. It is hard to find a recovery center that looks at trauma and mental health along with substance use. The staff really cares about every single person that comes in the door. I love how they offer community support even after their program is over and active support for family members. I have worked in this field for a long time and it is rare to find a place like this.

I didn't like the way things ended, the follow up, or certain programs but this was an overall helpful experience.

Do they take Medicaid

Medicaid does not cover treatment at AspenRidge. Free, long term programs like Stout Street Foundation, Salvation Army and Step Denver are available in the Denver area. In the Northern Colorado area, North Range Behavioral Health in Greeley can help. The best way to utilize Medicaid is through your nearest emergency room, the individual needs to be assessed by the on call social worker for medical criteria. If the individual meets medical criteria, they will be referred into a detox that works with medicaid. For outpatient programming in the Denver area, Center for Recovery IOPs work with medicaid.

I'm sorry to hear that relapse is part of recovery sometimes it happens. It's not a failure of a program it's a disease. Treat it as a disease I have had success treating my addiction this way . The best thing can be to remove him from his environment. Wilderness treatment is really helpful even if he just goes into outpatient treatment and got into the Phoenix multisport for activities like skiing and hiking yoga and trips to Moab with all recovering addicts. This has been very helpful with keeping busy and not using. Good luck to you and your son Sometimes ppl need a different approach to find the right way they can live with this disease amd be successful in sobriety. Anti depressants saved my life as well. With out them I would still be using. undiognosed Depression is something that could keep an addict using as in self medicating. Exercise daily helps your chemicals re balance and produce naturally without the drugs. I hope you helps in one way or another

I'd like to send an x-mas card to a friend of mine who is in y'all's program. May I please have the mailing address?

The cost for the facility with and without insurance? Stay in facility for how long? Visitation rights? Is the family permitted to take our own food?

We have two programs at each of our locations. One is a fully outpatient program, the other is an extended care 90-day program that provides both housing and day-treatment for a truly unique residential experience. With insurance it depends on deductible but generally $3,000 out of pocket for 90 days. Without insurance, it's $11,000/month for 3 months. After 10 days, clients can submit passes to go out on pass with their loved ones weekly, and family can stop by when scheduled. Furthermore we support family therapy sessions and provide a "Family Weekend" event where the family joins the client at our center for a few days of family therapy in an intensive setting. I'm unclear about your question regarding food. Are you asking if the client can eat food prepared by their family? If so, generally the answer to that is yes.
