What are sleeping accommodations like in the area? Is it easy to camp? Or are hotels the only option?

Camping is bit the best option currently. We got a nice AirBnB cabin not far away in Idaho Springs

Camping is not readily available near Red Rocks.

Be careful with the hotels. Pay attention to their online reviews. There are some pretty bad hotels in the area. Call before booking to make sure listed amenities are actually available. Many hotels are still using COVID as an excuse to dial back services.

We stayed at a motel. I'm not sure if there is camping.

There's an RV campground not far away but it's $$$.

Not sure how available camp sites are--if you have an RV check downtown Golden along the River or the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Covid probably affecting a lot. Check Golden Gate Canyon. Otherwise hotels are plentiful.

Campgrounds are sparse, crowded, and distant. Do not recommend.

Research for the closest camp area to Red Rocks or reserve a nearby hotel

There are hotels and campgrounds a few miles away but not AR Red Rocks.

There is one campground ~5 miles away, Bear Creek reservoir, which is pay/reserve. Don't know how far out reservations might be, but post-covid prepare accordingly.
