What age does one have to be to visit the dogs? I’m looking to adopt in a few months when I turn 18 but I want to make sure the dog is comfortable with me first.

I don't believe you have to be any certain age to visit the dogs. Yet I believe you do have to be a certain age to adopt. When you visit the dogs you have to fill out a form confirming that if the dog injures you you don't sue the shelter. I would ask the front desk for more info. Hope that helped :)
