Yeah, fishing is not allowed, and signs saying such frequent the edges of the lake in the park. As for the fish within it there is various trout for the most part, along with minnows. In the early evening you can sometimes watch them jump and skitter a bit on the water surface. It's a tributary of the larger Fanno creek, which in turn enters the Tualatin River right around Cook Park in Tigard.
Sometimes there are carp, an invasive but beautiful fish. Fishing is allowed at the South end of the "lake" in a marked location
