My wife and i walked in on a friday night and waited 15 minutes and were sat. I realize this is a rareity, but it is possible. Like others have said, give them a call. They told me they were booked through the weekend, but once their only waited 15 minites with no reservations.
Try calling early. If yiu go in the day time they usually have tables available, for the weekends it's another story
Sometimes they receive so many calls the line gets a bit jammed...keep trying! Although if you're close or happen to be in the area, making a reservation in person is what I'd suggest.
I received a lot of busy signals, but no dial tone issues. Keep trying.... it's worth it!
