It is quite pricey, if you just look at the prices itself. A steak for 2 people will be around 60 USD and if you order sides, salad and drinks you'll most definitely go beyond 100 USD for one meal. However, it DOES have history, tradition, and delicious steaks and true American sides to a steak.. I had one meal there - and it was worth it, but I wouldn't go there on a regular basis :p
It in my opinion is not that expensive a steak for two is i think 110.00 a hundred and ten dollars plus your sides me and my wife go we spend about 250.00 that is with your tip included my wife is not a big alcohol drinker that is with maybe two drinks. If you want a great STEAK that is definitely the place if you want a ordinary same old day steak go to OUT BACK. Peter Luger's is the place for steak
Figure around $100 per person all in. We'll worth the money considering how great the food is. By the way, they don't take credit cards.

It is not really THAT expensive, considering any where you go to get a good steak in NYC you will probably be spending the same amount. This place has great history. The steak and sides are unique to this place. You get to explore Brooklyn by going here.
Not really especially if you convert it to euros. You get well aged excellent steaks which for me is the primary reason I go to a steakhouse. Wine and sides are optional as far as I am concerned and so is dessert. If you want all of the fixings, you can try the other steak houses in Manhattan but for my money, I prefer the Luger steaks.
It's as expensive as you'd like to make it. The steaks are reasonably priced for a good steakhouse; better than many others that aren't worth it. Sides are a little expensive, but the bacon is worth it. Wine is very expensive and the only way to get a bill over $100pp. I go for steak so that and a side is all i ever order and never go past $85 after tax and a generous tip. Menus are online so do the math but if you're serious about steak, do as i do, and don't skip it!
Very expensive, but well worth it! For 2 ppl anywhere btwn $200 - $300 easy! Important to know, they DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS! Also make a reservation! Enjoy
