Now you can make your own chicken coop. But there I really have no Ideal because back in day we didn't those we made them out of chicken wire 2by4 and put them together ourselves. That's up too you to spend the money. I like it the old fashioned way that our grandparents use to do.
I spent $600 on my pre cut kit from Rual King
They are not "thousands"... they have several out front and all are under $500.00.
They are high . You are better off building your on or paying someone to build one for you .The stores are just to high .

They have different sizes and if you get one of there's you can always beef it up
They look cheap o would look onto building your own it would be bigger and probably better built
Depends on how much you want to spend! I would suggest looking into a pvc coop you can diy!
