Hello Barbara, If you need to surrender your dog, please call us at 317-872-5650 and leave a voicemail. We do require appointments to ensure we have a kennel available, as well as $40 surrender fee to cover the cost of their initial exam. If you are unable to wait for an appointment or pay the fee, you can take him to Indianapolis Animal Care Services on South Harding Street. They also have an adoption program and more than 90% of their animals are re-homed rather than euthanized.
Yes. They're fantastic people. Your little one will be well cared for, vet checked and will NOT be put down. They have fosters. They have kept animals for months, even longer. I adopted an 11 yr old cat l.in 17' and he'd been there for a long time. You can rest easy that your doggie will be well treated until he's adopted.
