Southaven Park is more set up for you standard picnicking. Wertheimer is not

I would say yes it is a hiking trail in woods one side is a road and the other side is a river.wear appropriate clothing. Tics they say are bad this year.

You can bring in lunch but you have to take everything back out again there's no barbecuing
