Currently they have a free hot meals takeout delivery or pick up that they are working with a program called Upper Darby Community Outreach (UDCOC). You must call every Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9AM and 12 Noon to get your full name, address and phone number on the dinner list. Call : (610)352-7008 you will be greeted by a secretary. (Also feel free to ask if you want flyers to tell more people. The pasture will make sure the driver has them to give to you.) Please make sure to tell them how many family members you have they can provide all the meals. They will have a driver come to your home from 5:30 PM. to 6:30 PM. If you happen to be not home on time. This happened to me once & I gave the driver that call me up specific instructions to put it at the back door and told him how to get there since I was 5 minutes away. I had to get a new microwave and was late coming back on time. So I have small private patio-stairwell that has a screen door attached to the back door. : )
We do not really have a ,"food bank" as much as a "Food Pantry". I recommend calling the church office at 610-352-1610, during office hrs(8-4, I think).
