My grandparents,parents and my husband Matt and I married St Rita 1979. Shrine is beautiful and her novenas In May are very special to us. Our funeral services,including my husband 2013 will never be forgotten. Diverse religions would also appreciate the beauty and symbols of our saints. I still feel the memory of hearing my grandmother opera voice echoing in church

For anyone that's interested, St Rita's parking lot entrence is on the SIDE, not Broad Street, (the front). However, once you exit the lot you'll be on a one-way street facing Broad St.
Absolutely. It's right on Broad Street in Philadelphia. The Broad Street line and the C bus both go directly there and they have their own parking lot as well. (Try the Transit app. It should get you right there. From Visitation on City Ave its very easy to get into center City and sorry Philly)
Hello Lisa, The Shrine no longer has a parking lot. However, for weekends only, visitors to the Shrine can use the Catch parking lot located on 15th St. between Federal and Wharton Streets. Regards, Donna
Thanks for your note, Dot. At this time, Confessions are being heard Monday through Saturday beginning at 10:45a.m. and lasting until 11:45a.m. in the Upper Church. As soon as we return to our normal schedule, we'll be sure to let you know. Saint Rita, pray for us!
Good Morning, weekday Masses are at 8:00 am and 12:00 (noon) in the Lower Shrine. On Wednesday there is also an additional 7:00 pm Mass in the Lower Shrine.
The Church does have a small parking lot along the side.

Hi Alicia, I am Fr. Robert Guessetto, OSA and I am serving at the Sanctuary of Saint Rita in Philadelphia. Masses are not celebrated in Spanish here, but I am available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation or if one wants other information. In the parish of the Annunciation BVM on 10th St and Dickinson St there are Masses in Spanish: Sundays at 9:00 am; Monday at 7:00 pm (Main Church) and Thursday at 7:00 pm (Chapel below). The lower entrance is on the left side if your facing the front of the church. It's a gated alley way
However.... You CAN just come for ashes if you're not able to attend mass
Only go once a year. But always beautiful
