I'm currently pregnant and me and the father to my son is looking to go into a shelter but he's still under his other baby mother's welfare case and still married to her will they still help us out ?

Good thing is that you don't need a case to get into the shelter as of yet when they place you they want you to get all that stuff so when you go to path. However you can get a domestic partnership with the person you are pregnant by to get into the shelter. And you have to make a reservation for that at the city hall for $35 Ive been to path they will help especially if you're working they're will get you an apartment in 90days or less .
