Their customer service is region based. It keeps costs down while allowing employees to assist customers that are in the store. It also allows for management to focus on in store tasks and employees rather than always being called to the front for a customer on the phone.
I called to ask if they had a certain item in the advertisement. The person that answered the phone tracked it for me and told me the nearby stores that had it in stock.
Every store phone number is different. They are not the same.

They are probably trying to save money.
My experience in calling that number was they were able to answer questions about the local stores. I may have been lucky and got someone familiar with the Hampton Roads Area.
You can't call any local Lidl store! My understanding is this is 1 way of keeping costs down!
