BelAire hotel is just around the corner from the entrance of Presque Isle. Make sure you visit Waldameer Park & Waterworld as it is free entrance. Only have to pay for people who decide to ride and you can bring a cooler with food and drinks ( no alcohol) into the park as there are plenty of picnic tables and grills
There is a camp at the begining of the penninsula and its called saras campground there are trailer pull in and a private beach its cheap also you could have tents set up if you get a tent your either gonna be on the beach or on the bayside great place i give it five stars everyone there is nice
With 17 people, you may want to check into renting a large house for a week. That is a large group to accomodate and will require at least 4 to 5 hotel rooms.
Dont stay at the avalon, its not to bad but the parking sucks. They do a lot of banquets they're so you may not get a parking space even though you're staying there. you can't go wrong with the Marriott
Sara's Campground is a great place to camp but you have to reserve early because now that we have Roar on the shore every summer that place gets pretty booked up
