Yes, they stay on the road. Bike and walking trails are underwater in some areas due to lake being higher dur to rain this spring. Still a great place to visit.
Yes, it is paved around the Peninsula for vehicles. But can't ride on the beach here. There is also a walking/pedal bike paved path and many hiking trails. Tons of fun and relaxing.
