My mother in law was a diabetic and waited that long AT THE CLEVELAND CLINIC. My father in law want to give her juice and they yelled at him. CC is not what people think. They were rude and could care less.
I always go to Akron general wellness Center on route 18 there is never a long wait and if you need to be admitted they will send you downtown as a direct admit and a bed will be waiting for you. that's what they did for me.
I have been sitting here for 7 hours and counting and my doctor sent me in.
That is worse than crazy. Trauma or not, 8 hour wait is uncalled for. I would bet if you went to Cleveland clinic in Cleveland, you wouldn't wait that long.
Your right but since they are the best hospital around this is what happens....remember they are a Trama 1 hospital...they take the absolute worst first...
God bless the 92 year old for living that long. But. All the answers I've read sound like non-medical people which causes them to be over judgmental due to their lack of knowledge and understanding. Too many people go to the emergency room when they should be seeing their primary physician. If an automobile accident person comes in that is bleeding profusely and unconscious, should they wait for the man who's sitting upright in a wheelchair talking to you? Think again people before being judgmental, it is these very ER people that you may have to entrust your life sooner than later. Think before speaking.
Just because you go by ambulance doesn’t mean you’ll be seen first. It goes by need first. All you get stuck with is an ambulance bill and still waiting.
That old shoulda go by ambulance always taken 1st 😉
