Thank you so much for the exceptional care! The staff is so welcoming, caring and knowledgeable! It's very hard to find a provider that actually listens to your wants and needs but this office exceeded expectations!

I would give it 0 stars if I could. We asked for an emergency refill for hormones on the 4th of October, they told us it would be at our pharmacy within an hour. Surprise, it's been 5 days and we still don't have our hormones. The first time we tried to make an appointment, the buildings water got shut off and they didn't inform us so we drove almost an hour there only for our appointment to (obviously) be cancelled. Have yet to have a positive experience at this building, you'd be better off going to the one in Kent.

I would have given them a 5 star but my appointment was at 12:10pm and I was not seen until 1:15 pm. They must be really short staff because this is ridiculous. No one should ever have to wait a 1 hr to be seen at any Doctor office especially when you are paying for it.

if you’re a transgender person in northeast ohio seeking HRT, please look no further than akron planned parenthood. the entire staff was so kind, professional, accepting, enthusiastic, conversational, knowledgeable, and caring. melissa, head of the department, was the best trans healthcare professional i have ever seen. trans people seeking hormones and other types of healthcare often find ourselves to be the ones explaining to the doctors what HRT does and what we should expect (i certainly have.) melissa was incredibly knowledgeable, and makes it clear that she and their whole staff will do everything to get you your hormones, stay on them, and answer questions about anything along the way. i am so grateful for everyone in this establishment and will be recommending their services to anyone i know who may need them.

Traci Vaughn | Oct 30, 2018

It depends on the STI (sexually transmitted infection). Each STI have their own symptoms, so the best thing is to go get checked out. Anytime you engage in non protected sex do you put yourself at risk of contracting a STI.
