Hello, I am a US citizen and want to obtain a Salvadoran Dui. What documents do I need? I was born in the US. Thanks.

If one of your parents is a Salvadoran citizen, you have to be register as Salvadoran in the nearest consulate, after that you will be able to get a DUI, for the process you will need you parents birth certificates or DUI and your US birth certificate. If you already have double nationality, just go to the consulate with your Salvadoran birth certificate. Both process are made in the Salvadoran consulate

Thank you. I was told I need my parents birth certificates as well as mine and documentation of their status here in the States. My mother is from Nicaragua. Only my father is Salvadoran. Would I still need my mothers info? Thanks.
