In VIRGINIA if your drivers license expires,you still have the same Identifier number correct. And if so when you check or validate license that number is or is not in system still. It should still be showing your info just under
suspension

That number never changes. It will just show expired on your record. That number is yours for life

Yes. That number is linked to you through the DMV. It should show the status of your license on the DMVnow website.
