The fastest anyone has hiked the trail start to finish is 46 days. Most people, however, take their time and savor the journey averaging around 8 months.

When do most hikers start if your a NoBo? Im not an experienced hiker. I have no idea how many miles a day I can hike but I have the desire and drive to get from Springer Mt, Ga to Mt. Katadan, ME! I hear it can take 5-6 months for most.
