I only see the opthamologist docs from Jacksonville here so I cannot help you.
If he can be successfully treated, this would be the place that could do it. They did wonders with one of my girls. However, all of the specialists and tests are expensive. Sadly, decisions often come down to what we can afford. Quality of life is also important to think about. It's not related to this outstanding practice, but I had to let one dog go because I was unable to work and give him the degree of care that he would require. He was going to require care every couple of hours 24/7 that I could not physically do, even if I had not been working. I hope things work out for you.
