Dr Drygas and his team are fantastic: experts in the field, professional and caring. Recently I took my lab Ruby there for a shoulder injury. As with all the previous visits, it was a great experience. An excellent standard of care.

I trust these guys with my life. They have done amazing jobs with 2 of my dogs. Kind, courteous, and knows what to do with these animals. Don't let others talk you into going to Gainesville. CVS is the place for you and your pet's needs.

I have been twice with my cat but it was urgent care only. First visit was for my kitty who had a urinary infection. She was prescribed the wrong antibiotic that made her sick. Cost was over 700.00 for blood work and exam. My second visit was a nightmare. Waited 4 hours and was never checked on. My cat was taken and had blood work that again cost almost 800.00. After a long wait, I was taken to the consulting room. A lot was going on and I could tell the staff were overwhelmed. The vet proceeded to tell me that my cat had days to live with fluid in her lungs. I never heard her wheeze once but accepted the diagnosis. I was left in the room and waited as I was crying. The vet was kind and said they would bring my cat. I was there 20 min in the room and was forgotten about.. I finally wandered the back hallway hoping someone would come. My poor kitty was in a big room with barking dogs around.. finally, the lady at the front desk came and apologized that I was left.. she brought my cat and I eventually left. It was traumatic to me. I cried all the way home from the news. My kitty was misdiagnosed as she lived several months more and most likely had cancer that was not confirmed. The vet gave her best guess but I will never go back to this clinic. Perhaps the regularly staffed vets are of a different caliber. I will never know.

Yes and they're pretty good and reasonably priced. A similar surgery that cost one of my puppies about 8K in NJ cost me under 2K with them... With equal success..
If you make an appointment. They are very accommodating.
Yes and yes. They are very helpful.
They have techs there but I don’t personally know the complete in and outs I’ve been there three times
I've asked various people how they enjoy their job as a habit through the years. I asked here about things like the love in the waiting area, the tears in the visiting rooms, and even texted the icu staff in the middle of the night. They sent me pictures of my Dog fighting for her life and were so genuine to see her and other furry babies doing well. The staff in this building all appear to be genuine, low stress, calm when a nervous owner is not cooperative (saw that today!) I'd say that it would have to be a good place to work, based on the people who are already doing it everyday being consistently content. (My observations have been over the last six months of biweekly or more visits.)
I only see the opthamologist docs from Jacksonville here so I cannot help you.
There is an avian vet in Tallahassee, but not at this practice. Her name is Kitty Remington and she spend some time at each of several Veterinary practices in Tallahassee. She is fantastic. As far as I know, she's the only avian vet anywhere around. This is not to detract from Capital Veterinary Specialist because I think they are also fantastic.
