I lost my dog and I just saw the shelter has him. But he already has a priority hold on him, will they give me preference before them since the dog belonged to me?

Definitely go in person and talk with someone there. They'll probably want you to prove ownership, shot records, photos etc. Or call 311 and have someone from the shelter call you, but it's faster just going there.

THEY LEGALLY REQUIRE GIVE BACK YOUR" DOG. YOU CAN SUE THEM IF NOT. DO IT, YOUR PROPERTY.
