Yes there is an awesome breakfast place 10 minutes from Barnes...its Egg Plantation in Newhall..AND its the BEST..they are only open for breakfast and lunch..go early if you can..the wait can be long .but its so worth it...prices are very reasonable too!!
Blackbear Diner isn't open yet, and I don't know how they'll be for breakfast. There's nothing really close. Mimi's Cafe is just a little ways up McBean. And Eggs'N'Things is a bit farther, on Newhall Ranch. If you're desperate, there's a McDonald's a short distance away.
If Black bear isn't open yet, 1 mile up Magic Mtn is the Saugus Cafe. Great spot.
