There are many parts to the responsibilities to be sure; an important one is monitoring the temperatures and conditions of the foods served, keeping sanitized and clean serving areas and assisting customers with their selection{s} in that area and around the store.Keep in mind, a lot of jobs EXPECT you to be versatile, so you might learn the requirements for other areas also.
In my humble opinion, I would say, just to keep it clean, fresh and looking nice! I would also say, your best bet is call the store and inquire there because you will be working with food and depending on who you work for, there are specific rules on how long specific foods can sit out at certain temperatures and so fourth ...
Keeping it clean & full would be my guess. But I'm sure if you call them they would be happy to answer this for you.
