I will stay at the hotel across the street (Millenium). Is this a self or vallet parking garage? Does the garage allow us to take out our car for a while and then park in again for overnight?

Valet parking only. It's open 24/7 so you can go and come as you need, but I don't know how that effects cost.

I think it is valet parking. They'd charge you again if you take it out for a while. As Daniel suggested, I'd call them to know the exact details.
