Do I have to be there 30.minutes early. Or is this a myth. I was told we lose our seats if we aren't.

No. On time or close to is fine. Its that this cinema sells food and liquor. So it's to their benefit you arrive early. And easier for you to place an order to your assigned seat

Definitely be on time ...its not a myth I saw a dad walk in late w 2 lil ones The employee had to ask manager for approval to let him in Be at least 10 to 15 min early

If you have purchased your tickets ahead of time the seat is yours. Whatever the start time is on your ticket, you should be in there at least 15 minutes beforehand. This also allows the staff to take your order before the film starts.
