I have taken a couple of cats. I had to pay a fee for taking them in. They were strays. I wanted to keep them but my pitbull doesn't like competition with any animal. They wouldn't give me any info on where they go....put down or adopted. Sorry wish I knew more. Good luck.
I don't think they can guarantee life. I wish bust not logical. So sorry due to budget.
