They give a small maybe gallon size Ziploc bag of food. Per one of the employees the dogs don't like that food. It wasnt hard to change the food. My doggie was throwing up that food. As soon as I stopped giving it to him he was fine.
They do supply enough dog food to help transition the dog over to a different type of food, but when I adopted, they forgot, and I had to buy the specific brand they use. Be sure to ask for the food before you leave with the dog.
