My question is, when I have three abnormal EKG'S at the Dr's office, is it customary to make me wait 2-3 weeks to then be seen by a cardiologist to be hooked up to a heart monitor for 24-48 hrs?

If you had three abnormal EKGs overr a period of time and not in one visit I would assume that a Cardiologist would want you to wear a halder monitor from one to four weeks to capture a pattern of your personal cardiac paterens. In my none professiinal medical experience, but in my personal experience it would be normal. During my four week monitoring, aparently, when I dealt with my kids I was ready to have a stroke.
