It depends. Most often the issue/problem is on their end. A call to technical support can usually track down and fix the issue. In rare cases it could be something with line coming from your home. Best thing to do is give em a call. 9/10 times they can fix it and service is restored.
You have to contact RCN technical support about why there is no Wifi , as long as the failure is in there end a credit can be requested
